Placebo's Battle for the Sun...

In this music video, you can see that this is purely band shots and there is no story underlying it.

This is what we shall use in the music video that we are actually creating.

Camera shots such as panning down a guitar neck,

and looking upwards towards the singer of the band makes for simple but unique viewing.

I do hope that we cancreate something as successful as this...

Changes to our plans...

When we had filmed our band shots, and some of the scenes that are on the storyboard such as the lift scene and the car scene - after our teacher viewed it, she suggested that we re-film the scenes, mainly because we were not creative enough with the shot types. After much discussion within our group, we decided that - with our deadline coming up on the 13th November - we needed to make it simpler, not so much in quality, but in 'content'. We decided that we would make it a purely band shot based music video (Much like Placebo's music video 'Battle for the Sun') but make sure, and spend time on creating unique and interesting camera angles. We will not delete our old footage...in case any angles are good for our music video.
